Never Alone Faith Over Cancer is a faith-based ministry offering hope, encouragement, and peace to people on a cancer journey. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have written it in plain language rather than legal language, because you should be able to read it without a lawyer.

The short version

We collect very little. We do not sell your information to anyone, ever. We do not run advertising. The main things we gather are your name and email address if you choose to subscribe, and whatever you choose to tell us in a prayer request or a message. You can ask us to remove any of it at any time.

Your prayer request is private. It comes straight to Blaine and our prayer team, and we pray over every single one. We never publish it, post it, or share it with anyone else.

What we collect automatically

When you visit, our hosting company and Google Analytics record ordinary technical information: your IP address, the device and browser you are using, which pages you looked at, and how long you stayed. Nearly every website records this. We use it to see which pages are helping people, so we can make more of what works.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use them for two things: to keep the site working properly, and to gather anonymous statistics through Google Analytics. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or to advertise to you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Services we use

Google Analytics helps us understand how people find and use the site. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. We added reCAPTCHA because our contact form was being targeted by automated spam.

MailPoet manages our email list and sends our emails.

Bluehost hosts the website and keeps ordinary server logs.

Our podcast is also distributed through Apple Podcasts and Spotify. If you listen there, those companies collect their own information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Children

This site is written for adults facing cancer and for those caring for them. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please write to neveralonefoc@gmail.com and we will delete it.

How we protect your information

The site uses a secure encrypted connection. Access to prayer requests and the email list is limited to the people who run this ministry. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us.

We should be honest with you: no website can promise perfect security. What we can promise is that we collect as little as possible, we do not sell it, and we will remove it whenever you ask.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. It works immediately.

You can ask us to remove a prayer request, delete your information, or tell you what we hold about you. Write to neveralonefoc@gmail.com and we will take care of it.

You do not have to give us anything to use this site. Reading, listening to the podcast, and browsing the stories require nothing from you at all.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so in an email to our subscribers.

If you have any question about this policy, or you would like something removed, please write to us at neveralonefoc@gmail.com. We read everything and we will always answer.

Thank you for trusting us with your story and your prayers. You are NEVER ALONE.
