Why Me
Faith
Why did I get Cancer
Cancer almost always begs the question in everyone eventually: “Why me?”
It’s a question born from pain, fear, and longing. And while Scripture gives us comfort and truth, it also tells us something important...
We will not fully understand the “why” on this side of heaven.
But that does not mean your suffering is meaningless.
It does not mean God is distant.
And it does not mean your cancer is a mistake.
Breathe, remind yourself that God is always with you, and that even when the “why” is hidden, your life and your story still carry deep purpose.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Deuteronomy 29:29
The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever...
Isaiah 55:8
My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.
These verses don't dismiss your pain...they validate it. They remind us that...
- God sees the full story.
- We see only a small part of the story.
- The answers we long for will be revealed in His presence.
Cancer is NOT a punishment.
It is NOT a sign of weak faith.
It is NOT God abandoning you.
We live in a fallen world where sickness exists, but God never leaves His children alone in it...never! And one day, when we get to heaven, every question will be answered, and every tear wiped away.

Purpose
God Uses Every Hard Thing for Purpose and Good
Even though we may not know WHY cancer came, Scripture is unmistakably clear about something else...
God can use every trial, including cancer, for good, for purpose, and for His Kingdom and Glory.
Your cancer is not wasted.
Your pain is not pointless.
Your story is not over.
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.
Philippians 1:12
What has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.
2 Corinthians 1:4
We comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
We Are Called to Live With Purpose
As followers of Jesus, we are called to live with PURPOSE...to shine His light, share His hope, and walk with others through their darkest valleys. Cancer becomes a place where...
You didn't choose this journey with cancer, but God can use it in ways you cannot yet see.
Never Alone
Jesus is with you
Through every appointment, every fear, every sleepless night, and every moment of uncertainty, Jesus is with you...you are NEVER ALONE.
He walks beside you. He carries you when you're weak. He surrounds you with His peace.
One day, wehn you stand in His presence, every mystery will be made clear. Until then, hold onto this truth...
You are loved.
You are held.
You are NEVER ALONE.
And God is working through your story...even now.
